Residents of the
Mount Pulaski area celebrated Memorial Day with three
events in honor of our veterans. From Steenbergen
Cemetery, to Vonderleith Living Center and the Mount
Pulaski American Legion home, those gathered gave of
their time to say thanks to all those who have served
our country. Another picture from Mount Pulaski is in
today's Community section.

Each flag flying in Steenbergen
Cemetery is marked with a number. Each number refers to
a specific interred veteran of the U.S. military, dating
back to the Revolutionary War. A list of these numbers
is provided each year. |
